When it comes to your assets and investments, the company that represents
you and your financial interests is only as good as the professionals
behind it.
For almost 20 years, Howard Gartenhaus and his devoted team of financial
professionals have worked with both individuals and businesses to help achieve
financial results. We listen to your needs and design a plan to help achieve
your goals. We then work with you—advising, planning, and managing
your money based on our experience, knowledge, and expertise.
When making a decision about working with a financial planner and advisor,
consider the credentials and staying power of the professionals you select:
- Have they been around long enough to have seen decades
of cycles in the market?
- Have they been directly involved in the market and with
investments for those cycles?
- Are they successful as a financial planning and advisory
firm on their own?
Gartenhaus Financial’s team credentials include Certified Financial
Planner (CFP) and Certified Fund Specialist (CFS). Howard Gartenhaus is a member
of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of the Greater Washington,
D.C. area.

Other Advisors
The professionals at Gartenhaus Financial have access to a host of other advisors that aid
our clients in succeeding with their financial planning goals. It is
our belief that having a network of highly qualified professionals is
key to fully serving our clients' needs.
While it is helpful to have one primary advisor, the professionals at Gartenhaus possesses
relationships with other experts. Much like a primary care physician,
we play an important role in suggesting appropriate times to engage
the expertise of more specialized professionals. Your planning team
may include an estate planning attorney, a tax accountant, an insurance
professional, a mortgage company, and/or a pension administrator, just
to name a few.
Additionally, the professionals at Gartenhaus offer a wide spectrum of money management
alternatives. Working with our clients, we formulate a mix designed
to meet specific goals, risk tolerances and expense sensitivities. Thanks
to the professional relationships we have built with some of the industry's
top institutional specialists, we can maintain the personalized service
we pride ourselves on while utilizing the resources of a much larger
firm.
Through our strategic alliances, our clients have access to over 50
institutional money managers who purchase individual securities on behalf
of our clients. Approached on your own, many of these managers would
typically require $5 million or more to establish an individually managed
account. Through the advisors at Gartenhaus Financial, you have access to these managers
for an investment of as little as $50,000. Clients also have the option to customize portfolios by instructing
the manager to avoid certain companies or industry groups.
As of 1/1/2010, the advisors at Gartenhaus
Financial Corporation advise approximately 350 clients and have approximately $110 million in assets under management.
